Ranj Perera has been endorsed by the Australian Liberal Party as their candidate for Holt in the upcoming Federal election.

Mr Perera’s family of his wife and four kids have been residents of Melbourne’s South East for over a decade.

For the past three years he has worked alongside the Federal Member for Latrobe Jason Wood MP as both his Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor, working on portfolios such as Customs, Community Safety, Multicultural Affairs, Immigration, Australian Border force and other intelligence agencies.

Mr Perera says he loves serving the community.

“Australia is an amazing country that we live in, like all of us my family and I have benefited from the wonderful things that Australia offers us,” he said.

“So I believe it is time for me to give back – to give back to a community and a country that has given us so much.

“That is why I decided to put my hand up for Holt as your Liberal Candidate.”

Mr Perera is the President of the local Lions club, Casey South East United, and also the President of WeCare Victoria.

“I am committed to serving our community and always have had a passion for helping the vulnerable and the needy in our communities,” Mr Perera said.
