Police brief: Witnesses to hit-run collision saught

Police are appealing for witnesses or dash cam footage to a hit-run collision in Hallam on Wednesday 16 March.

The victim’s vehicle, a red Mazda sedan, was turning left onto the Princes Highway from Belgrave-Hallam Road when it was rear-ended by a silver Rav-4 with a partial registration of YLK***, around 11:50am on 16 March, police say.

The offending vehicle drove away without stopping to exchange details, heading toward Narre Warren on the Princes Highway.
