Police brief: repeat offender caught again

A 33-year-old St Albans man was intercepted by Casey Highway Patrol officers in Dandenong South on Tuesday 8 March.

The unlicensed driver, who was travelling to Dandenong Magistrates’ Court for unrelated driving offences, tested positive to an illicit drug while driving an unroadworthy vehicle.

His vehicle was immediately impounded and he is expected to be charged on summons with driving offences again.
