A MOTORCYCLIST was flown to The Alfred hospital with life-threatening injuries on Tuesday following a collision with a truck in Tooradin.
The crash between the motorcyclist and truck occurred about 9.55am at the corner of Tooradin Station Road and Manks Road, Tooradin.
Senior Constable Travis Cusack from Cardinia Highway Patrol said it was believed the motorcyclist was travelling east along Manks Road when a 59-year-old truck driver from Clyde travelling north along Tooradin Station Road pulled out in front of him.
The motorcyclist, a 50-year-old man from Mount Eliza, collided with the side of the truck.
The rider suffered a broken wrist and head and chest injuries and is in an induced coma in a critical but stable condition.
