SCHOOLS around Casey celebrated a milestone last week – the preppies completed 100 days of school.
It was all things 100 at Tooradin Primary School as they held a number of different activities to celebrate the occasion.
Children bought in collections of 100 items to share, made and decorated glasses in the shape of the number 100, played counting games based on 100 and had a delicious, healthy ‘100 Days of School’ party.
Teacher Rachel Davis said it was a great celebration.
“Tooradin Primary School proudly observes this occasion as a milestone in the children’s education, highlighting how much the students have learnt in their first 100 days, and we were pleased to find that yet again the Prep children had a fantastic time,” she said.
The day closed with the students taking home 100 balloons between them.
