Rodeo action bound to thrill – The Cranbourne Rodeo and Country Festival is bucking its way into town this Saturday night. A cowboy competes in last year’s popular event. 59465Picture: Donna Oates

SADDLE up, the Cranbourne Rodeo and Country Festival is riding into town this weekend.
There will be plenty of action-packed entertainment at the 12th annual event in Clyde on Saturday night.
As well as plenty of thrills and spills in the bare-back riding, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing and the crowd favourite bull riding, there will be plenty on offer for people of all ages.
The event will also include extreme motorcycle stunt riders, live band Blackhill Ramblers performing, amusement rides for all ages and food and drink for sale.
Gates open at 4.30pm, with all the action kicking off at 6.30pm on Saturday night.
The event will take place at 1450 Ballarto Rd, Clyde.
Cost is $30 for adults, $15 for children and aged pensioners and $80 for a family pass.
