Job wish is on many Casey lips

MAX Employment in the City of Casey is helping to grant the one wish that many want this Christmas – a job.
MAX Employment, the country’s largest job service provider which has offices in both Cranbourne and Narre Warren, launched its Great Australian Christmas Jobs Drive in October, which aims to place as many people as possible into sustained work by Christmas.
The initiative is also supporting The Smith Family Christmas Appeal at the same time, with MAX Employment donating to the appeal for every job seeker who gets a job.
Under the slogan ‘all I want for Christmas is a job’, the campaign has so far placed more than 6000 people into jobs nationwide and are on track to their goal of creating employment for 10,000 people by Christmas.
MAX Employment work experience and community liaison co-ordinator Linda Canisius said the staff would be working extra hard to place the local community into jobs.
“Not having a job can have a devastating social and economic impact on families,” she said.
“Over the coming weeks, the staff at MAX Employment Cranbourne and Narre Warren will be working even harder to place people looking for work in the City of Casey.”
MAX Employment provides a free service and encourages employers small and large to provide sustainable job opportunities for job seekers leading into Christmas and long into 2012.
