Info needed on alleged quad bike crime

Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested two men following a pursuit involving a quad bike in Cranbourne.

The pair were observed on an allegedly stolen quad bike which was loaded with a roll of carpet and a door in the Casey Fields area about 2.50am on Saturday 17 April.

Police attempted to intercept the pair, but they failed to stop, and a pursuit commenced.

Stop sticks were deployed and the vehicle was monitored by the police airwing before the quad bike got bogged in a nearby paddock and the pair were arrested.

Two Cranbourne men, aged 28 and 35, have since been released pending further enquiries.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
