Four arrested for kidnapping and home invasion

Detectives from the Casey crime investigation unit have arrested and charged four culprits following an alleged home invasion and kidnapping in Cranbourne West last month.

Two women and two men were arrested by police after the officers executed search warrants on four different residential addresses.

The alleged home invaders include a 26-year-old Cranbourne West man, a 29-year-old Patterson Lakes woman, a 20-year-old Mt Eliza man and a 25-year-old Carrum Downs woman.

All four people were charged with both home invasion and kidnapping, while three of the four were additionally charged with committing offences whilst on bail.

The offenders were remanded in custody and will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
