Thugs sought after brazen attack

Two armed thugs are wanted by police in relation to a brazen and brutal assault in Cranbourne East.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged armed robbery on Casey Fields Boulevard on 20 December last year.

It’s believed the two alleged offenders, armed with a knife, approached the unsuspecting victim at about 7pm.

Police say the victim was then punched to the face before the offenders allegedly fled with the victim’s jacket and ear pods.

The first alleged offender has been described as being of African appearance, aged in their early 20s and approximately 6’1.

He was purportedly seen wearing black pants, a black sleeveless hoodie and brown shoes.

His alleged co-accused has been described as also being of African appearance, aged in their early 20s and approximately 6’2.

He was purportedly seen wearing black pants, a beanie, jacket and shoes. It’s understood he was also carrying a black bum bag.

Investigators have released footage of two men who may be able to assist with enquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
