Firefighters have responded to a house fire in Clyde on Thursday on 10 September.
Fire crews were called to a property at Tuckers Road about 12 noon.
A Country Fire Authority spokesperson said the fire was impacting the property from inside the ceiling when crews arrived.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus brought the blaze under control in just under 40 minutes.
There were no injuries but the house was extensively damaged.
Crews used a number of hose lengths to convey pump water over a significant distance to the fire.
Eight CFA units from Clyde, Devon Meadows, Cranbourne, Tooradin, Berwick and Casey Group responded as well as a Fire Rescue Victoria appliance, which all remained on scene until 1.32pm.
A fire investigator will attend.
