CASEY residents now have the opportunity to have their say on hot topics in the area and key issues affecting their future.
The City of Casey has invited residents to provide feedback on issues including key arterial roads and intersection improvements, traffic congestion on the Monash Freeway through Casey, Cranbourne bypass, access to broadband for residents and local bus services.
Local residents can do so on a dedicated community consultation portal, by logging onto www.caseyconversations.com.au.
City of Casey Mayor Shar Balmes said the aim of the ‘Casey Conversations’ portal was for residents to ask questions, provide feedback to council and talk to each other about local issues affecting Casey’s future.
“As the City of Casey is Victoria’s largest municipality with a socially and geographically diverse community, council has to come up with ways to make it easier for our residents to provide us with their feedback,” she said.
“The Casey Conversations portal is a wonderful initiative as it opens up council’s consultation process, providing the community with the opportunity to be heard simply by the click of a button.”
To enable informed discussion, the council posts additional and supporting information in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and library sections on each Casey Conversations topic so residents have easy access to the relevant documentation.
