This year may have proven to be a little topsy-turvy for schools but preps at Tooradin Primary School have had reason to smile.
The youngest pupils reached a significant milestone, having recently celebrated 100 days of schooling.
To mark the occasion, preps dressed up as either their 100-year-old selves or wearing an item of clothing with 100 items on it at home.
Foundation Teacher Maja Maracic said the school was proud of how well preps had embraced learning from home during this challenging year.
“This milestone was one for the memory books as this is the first year our students have had to learn from both school and home,” she said.
“A special mention to all the wonderful families for their support and efforts during this challenging time. We could not do this without you.
“It was so wonderful to see so many of the students dressed up and we hope they enjoyed their special day.”
Ms Maracic also thanked her fellow Foundation teachers Liz Hill and Kirsty Johnson.
Two Foundation students also shared what their favourite part of school has been so far.“My favourite thing to do at school is playing outside on the playground with my friends!” Havana said.
Kai said: “My favourite thing about school so far is playing with my friends, getting my Maths Ranger Belts and learning lots!”
