POLICE have released a photofit ID of a man they believe was involved in a burglary at a Cannons Creek home last month.
A 37yearold woman returned to her Bluff Road home about 10.45pm on Tuesday 19 July when she saw a man run out of the house and jump the side fence.
She went inside to discover her handbag, which contained about $200 and a quantity of personal papers, had been stolen.
The man is described as Caucasian, tall with short hair and wearing a black hooded jumper, blue jeans and white runners.

A SIX pack of Jim Beam and Coke was the only item stolen during a robbery at Safeway in Thompson Parkway shopping centre.
Surveillance video captured two men forcing the front doors of the Thompsons Road shopping centre at 3am on Sunday 24 July.
The men then entered the liquor department through a roller door before taking the six pack of bourbon, valued at about $15.

POLICE have charged a 15yearold boy with three counts of burglary after a series of attacks on shops in Pearcedale last month.
It is alleged the boy, from Pearcedale, robbed the Larnach Road bakery, milk bar and newsagency in midJuly, taking around $400 in total.
He has been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Children’s Court on 23 September.

VANDALS caused an estimated $1000 damage to a car in Hampton Park on the weekend.

IN A separate attack, vandals graffitied a brick wall at the upstairs car park of Centro Cranbourne shopping centre.
Surveillance footage shows approximately six men spray painting an outside wall on the western side of the carpark, near the down ramp, at 11.30pm on Friday 29 July.
The wall was tagged with the words “Guncan and Gaylord” and “Love Hearts” in black and white paint.

POLICE are investigating the theft of a dog from a Cranbourne West pound last week.
