DETECTIVES from Dandenong Embona are seeking witnesses to the armed robbery of a fast food restaurant in Cranbourne on Saturday afternoon.
Investigators were told a man entered the sandwich restaurant in Frankston-Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne, just before 4pm.
Armed with a metallic object, the man threatened the attendants behind the counter.
He made demands for cash and fled the restaurant with the money.
The offender is described as Caucasian, 180 centimetres tall with a thin build and short, brown hair.
He was wearing a dark coloured cap, a black, long sleeved top and was covering his face with a white towel.
Police are urging witnesses or anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
