HUNDREDS of members from a range of local church groups united this month for the 14th annual Good Friday Easter March through the streets of Cranbourne.
On Good Friday, 22 April, members of churches part of the Cranbourne Christian Ministers Association, stepped out in a collective celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
With Easter falling so close to Anzac Day this year, two local ministers, Reverend Wendy Snook from Uniting Church Cranbourne and pastor Frank Clancy from Assembly of God, led the march as both of them have served in the armed forces.
The march started at Lamb Street, Cranbourne, then to Greg Clydesdale Square and then to Ray Perry Park, where the march came to an end. At each location, local churches presented songs, drama and bible readings.
At the final station, there were puppets for the children, free hot cross buns, and tea and coffee.
