Driver faces court after pursuit

POLICE nabbed a Hampton Park man on Monday afternoon following a 20-minute pursuit.
Narre Warren police saw a stolen red Toyota Corolla travelling on Ormond Road in Hampton Park and began following it just after 3.30pm.
They lost sight of the car briefly before it was spotting again by officers in another vehicle who pursued it through Hallam and Hampton Park.
The 26-year-old driver was arrested in Nola Court, Hampton Park, after ramming a marked police sedan.
Police allege the man reached speeds of up to 120 km/h in an 80 km/h zone during the incident.
The driver is expected to be charged with reckless conduct endangering life, as well as a number of traffic offences.
