A MAN was hit on the head with a glass bottle after a night out in Berwick recently.
Three men and a woman left Castello’s Hotel on the corner of Clyde and Greaves roads when it closed on 6 February, grabbed a kebab at a nearby shop and headed towards their car.
Police said a white Nissan Patrol pulled up about 4am with six to seven people inside, described as being of Pacific Island descent.
Two of the people got out of the car and asked the three men for a cigarette before one of them was hit on the face and head with a bottle.
Police said a fight started, during which time one of the victims had their wallet stolen from their pocket.
The three male victims were aged between 18 and 22 and were from Narre Warren and Beaconsfield.
The man who was assaulted went to Dandenong Hospital with cuts to his forehead and bruises to his face.
