Year 12 students and their teachers from Cranbourne East Secondary College have sore feet but full hearts after exceeding their fundraising target for White Ribbon.
On Tuesday 27 August a group from the school ran in teams non-stop for six hours around the school oval, to raise funds for the White Ribbon Foundation.
Teacher Kellie Friso said the group raised more than $800 – well in excess of their initial $500 target.
In total the group ran 250km on the day, she said, but the sore feet were worth it for the worthy cause.
