DEVON Meadows Primary School band members took to the road on a rock tour of East Gippsland last week.
Ten grade-five and grade-six students wowed students from Metung Primary School, Nowa Nowa Primary School and Toorloo Arm Primary School with their own brand of rock’n’ roll during the three-day expedition.
Teacher Amber Crawford said the rock band had only been together since the start of the year and gave three exceptional performances.
“They performed really well and had a ball,” she said.
“They practise once a week and have clicked well over the past year.
“It’s not easy to put a band together in one year but they’ve done a fantastic job.”
