THE axe-wielding Maccas bandits are still at large.
Police say their investigations into the three robberies at Keysborough, Lynbrook and Cranbourne McDonald’s stores last week are continuing.
During the three strikingly similar robberies, masked men entered the stores late at night or early in the morning armed with an axe and a bladed weapon.
They threatened young staff members and fled with cash. Police are searching for a dark-coloured Ford or Holden sedan with NSW number plates.
Frankston Embona Taskforce is investigating the robberies. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
