Millie the dog, who went missing when her owner’s vehicle was stolen in Blind Bight, has been found safe and well.
Police will reunite Millie the dog with her owner on Thursday July 4.
Police received information that Millie was located on the street by council Rangers in The Avenue, Montrose on Tuesday July 2.
She was then taken to Animal Aid in Coldstream, where staff recognised Millie as a result of the social media coverage.
Millie was in her owner’s car when the car was stolen from outside a milk bar on Anchorage Drive about 8.30am on Saturday June 22.
The vehicle was located on June 24 on Warrigal Road in Bentleigh.
A 38-year-old woman from Hampton East was arrested in Bayside and has been released pending further enquiries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
