HAMPTON Park residents can look forward to performances at River Gum Primary School’s new performing arts centre.
The centre was an initiative of the Federal Government’s Building the Education Revolution fund.
Built on the Hampton Park Secondary College grounds, it is a joint project between the high school and River Gum primary.
River Gum Principal Roma McKinnon said the community could look forward to performances by students at the new facility.
She said the work of Peter Anderson, the architect who designed the building, was recognised in the school’s first performance at the centre.
Santa’s search for the Christmas spirit on Thursday, 9 December was a “great success,” she said.
The centre is also available for use by the Hampton Park community.
