Honour, pride, courage, empathy and mateship has been the focus of learning at Tooradin Primary School in the lead up to Anzac Day.

Students have been involved in reading stories about the ANZAC spirit, writing narratives about the experience of war, creating ANZAC themed artwork and learning about the important reminders of Anzac Day, such as the poppies, rosemary, the rising sun and the Anzac Ode.

Grade 5/6 teacher Heidi Carroll accompanied the school captains to represent the Tooradin Primary School community at both the Kooweerup dawn service and the Tooradin service on Thursday to lay a floral tribute to the men and woman who serve our great nation, in past and currently.
