More than 1000 people tried their luck in grabbing a bargain at this year’s twilight car boot sale in Warneet on Saturday 30 March.
The event, held at Warneet Recreation Reserve, included live entertainment, classic bikes, sausage sizzle, fire brigade displays, Captain Koala, kid’s activities, community group displays, raffles and more to raise money for the Warneet-Blind Bight CFA brigade.
Brigade secretary and treasurer Debra Sevastianov said despite the wet weather everyone enjoyed themselves.
“This is one of our major fund raisers for the year to help support the operational services we deliver to the local coast village’s communities and surrounding areas,” she said.
