More awards on offer

NOMINATIONS are open for the 2011 Casey Citizens of the Year Awards.
There are two new categories for next year’s awards, which are Casey Sportsperson of the Year and Casey Community Fundraising Event/Activity of the Year.
There are five individual award categories and two group categories. The categories are Casey Citizen of the Year, Casey Young Citizen of the Year, Casey Senior Citizen of the Year, Casey Sportsperson of the Year and Casey Non-resident of the Year.
Casey mayor Lorraine Wreford encouraged people to consider nominating someone who had made a significant contribution to Casey. Nominations for the individual Casey Citizens of the Year Awards close at 5pm on 5 November.
