TWO community houses in Cranbourne are joining forces to host a Going Green Expo next month.
The Balla Balla Community Centre and the Cranbourne Community House will hold the expo at the Balla Balla Community Centre on 20 November.
People can learn how to reduce their carbon footprint at this free event, which will feature the chairman of the Environment Protection Authority (EPA), Cheryl Batagol, who will be the guest speaker on the day at 10.30am.
There will be children’s activities and entertainment on the day, and the launch of the Tried and True Green Household Tips will take place, with green cleaning tips provided by the local community.
Showbags will be given away for the first 200 people, as well as door prizes and giveaways.
The expo will be held from 9.30am to 1.30pm. The Balla Balla Community Centre is located next to the Cranbourne Library.
