Man arrested over robbery

Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a 24-year-old Clayton man after he allegedly robbed a service station in Tooradin on 12 February.

It is alleged the man, armed with a firearm, entered a service station on South Gippsland Highway about 3.15am and selected a strawberry milk before stealing cash and cigarettes.

The Clayton man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and remanded in custody to appear before the Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on 23 February.
