EXHAUSTED Kilberry Valley Primary students dragged weary bones behind them as they left school last Thursday.
A day of non-stop physical challenges put even the fittest youngsters to the test during the school’s annual Tabloid Sports Carnival.
Prep to grade two students participated in a range of activities, including archery, volleyball, totem tennis, obstacle courses and team building exercises.
Physical education teacher Alistair Johnson said the day was all about being active and having fun.
“The kids are able to use equipment and do activities we can’t normally do with them,” he said.
“They absolutely loved it.
“It was amazing to see them after a couple of hours still enthralled in the whole thing,” he said.
Mr Johnson said that Friday’s carnival for students in grades three to six was rescheduled due to rain.
