CRANBOURNE residents joined the effort to help raise money for the regions affected by the recent floods in Victoria.
Bunnings Warehouse stores across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania, hosted flood relief sausage sizzles and helped raise $40,000 for the State Emergency Services in affected regions.
On Friday 24 September, Bunnings presented the $40,000 cheque to the State Emergency Services as a thank you for their help in those areas.
Bunnings Warehouse Cranbourne complex manager Mark Dempsey said the support shown by Cranbourne residents at the sausage sizzle was excellent.
“The support of Cranbourne residents demonstrated the unity of communities in times of need and it is really great to see,” Mr Dempsey said.
