A TEENAGER was tasered through a car window in Cranbourne on Friday 24 September.
The victim, an 18-year-old man from Hampton Park, went to the KFC restaurant in Cranbourne, before he returned to a car with his friends.
The driver of the car left KFC and then came to a stop at the intersection of High and Brunt streets in Cranbourne.
Police said an unknown man approached the driver’s door and attempted to open, but it was locked.
Police said he then went to the passenger’s window on the driver’s side and asked, ‘who was starting shit at KFC?’
The victim denied any knowledge.
Police said the offender then reached into the window and tasered the victim and then decamped. The victim was left with red marks.
Police said the offender could have purchased the taser from the internet.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Casey CIU on 9705 3111.
