THE Cranbourne Community Plan Advisory Committee has been established to provide advice, input and active assistance to ensure the vision for Cranbourne is met.
The committee has been established for 12 months, to assist with the implementation of the Cranbourne Community Action Plan.
The committee held its inaugural meeting on Monday 13 September and will meet bi-monthly to continue to implement the projects identified as part of the plan.
City of Casey Manager Community Strengthening Janette Green said the Cranbourne Community Plan was a three-year initiative, co-funded by the Department of Planning and Community Development and the City of Casey.
“The purpose was to engage all sectors of the Cranbourne community to develop the future vision for the area and to address a number of key local issues,” she said.
Members of the committee include representatives from Casey council, local businesses, groups and residents.
