Bra bandit has a whiff of the loot

AN 18-year-old woman was asked to remove and hand over her bra during a bizarre robbery in Cranbourne on the weekend.
The woman, from Eumemmerring, was approached by a man at a bus interchange on Lyall Street who asked her for the rings she was wearing about 8.45pm on 27 August.
She handed over the rings, and also a bag of clothes she had with her, at the man’s request.
The man took some underwear out of the bag and sniffed it in front of her, police said.
He then told the woman to take her bra off and hand it over to him, which she did. He then left the scene.
Police described the man as about 30 years old, of Indian descent and wearing a black jacket.
Police are appealing for witnesses. If anyone has information they can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
