Labor Party candidate for Cranbourne Pauline Richards has vowed to provide better health, infrastructure, and schools for the community.
“I’m really proud of what the Labor Government has achieved in the past four years: removing level crossings, ending the ambulance crisis, building schools, and rescuing and restoring TAFE,” she said.
“I am taking this opportunity to ask for your vote, so I can serve as your Member for Cranbourne in the Victorian Parliament because I know there’s still more to do.”
Ms Richards lives in Lyndhurst with their three youngest children, and has experience in health policy, and worked for small, large and not-for-profit organisations.
If elected at the state election, Ms Richards said some of her priorities would be for children to reach their full potential, that patients get the care they deserve, and that people get home sooner and safer.
“That’s why we have a plan to invest in our local schools, build a new Cranbourne Community Hospital, widen roads like Thompsons Road, and deliver trains every 10 minutes with an upgrade of the Cranbourne line,” she said.
“I’m proud to have advocated for a new Cranbourne Community Hospital – that only a re-elected Labor Government will build to ensure that locals can get access to healthcare services they need, closer to home.
Ms Richards says Labor has a plan to keep creating jobs – “ensuring local jobs on our big projects – and to give a helping hand to hard-working families.”
