A kindergarten will be place by 2022 in Clyde North if Labor is re-elected in this motnh’s state election.
Labor has promised to invest almost $5 billion over the next decade to deliver a full 15 hours of three-year-old kinder, making sure about a quarter of Victorian families pay nothing at all. We’ll cover 65 per cent of the costs for families on higher incomes.
A re-elected Labor Government will complete Victoria’s biggest ever early education build, with almost 1,000 new and upgraded kinders across the state.
In order to kickstart work straight away, Labor will begin working with councils, communities and the Municipal Association of Victoria about the best way to deliver the new kinders.
“Kindergarten is where a great education begins. We’ll make sure every new primary school in Victoria features a kindergarten, so kids get the best start in life,” Premier Daniel Andrews said.
