A Cranbourne West man is one of four people arrested and charged as part of a police investigation into drug trafficking in the southern suburbs.

Southern Metropolitan Divisional Response Unit investigators with the assistance of the Special Operations Group, Dog Squad, Echo Task Force, Australian Federal Police and the Frankston Police Service Area carried out search warrants on Tuesday 17 October.

A 27-year-old Cranbourne West man was also arrested at a Faith Court home about 3pm where a search warrant was executed.

A number of items were located and seized including two Harley Davidson motorcycles, one car, cash and a quantity of what is alleged to be cocaine and methyl-amphetamine.

He was charged with drug related offences and faced the Frankston Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 17 October and will reappear again in December.

Police arrested a 28-year-old Seaford man in a Frankston shopping centre car park about 12.20pm.

He was charged with numerous offences including trafficking a commercial quantity of drugs of dependence and was subsequently remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court for a filing hearing on 24 October.

A 30-year-old Frankston South man was arrested in Bayswater before a search warrant was executed at his Nolan Street home about 3pm where a firearm was seized. He was released pending further police enquiries.

A 23-year-old Seaford woman was arrested following the execution of a search warrant at her Chiquita Avenue home where police seized firearm ammunition and what is alleged to be cocaine.

She has been charged with breaching a community corrections order and was bailed to appear at the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on 18 February 2019.
