Drug driver faces court

A 29-year-old woman has been allegedly caught drug driving in Cranbourne West on Sunday 14 October.

Casey Highway Patrol intercepted her 2002 Volkswagen Golf on Central Parkway at 3pm where she tested positive to drugs.

Police say the driver of Carrum Downs was also driving with a suspended licence, as well as her car allegedly found to be unregistered and un-roadworthy.

Police allege the woman had her licence suspended for six months earlier this month after being detected drug driving in July.

Her vehicle was impounded for a month at a cost of $1042.40 and she is expected to face a magistrate at a later date.
