A Cranbourne woman has declared ‘dreams do come true’ after the revelation she is now $100,000 richer from the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The thrilled winner won the guaranteed first prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10251, drawn Friday 12 October.
“Oh my god! I’m still in shock over it,” the woman exclaimed when speaking with a Tatts official.
“I was in such a state of disbelief and then relief. I just wasn’t expecting this.
“I saw on the train home on Friday night that I had won a big prize but I didn’t know how much. I had an hour train journey home and I sat on the train wondering how much it was. It seemed to take forever.
“I waited until the whole family was home so we could all go online and discover the news together. I wanted to share the excitement with my family. It’s an amazing feeling and I wanted to share the happiness with them,” she added.
“You don’t know how much this means to us! I could just cry now. It means the world to me.
“Dreams do come true! Dreams do come true. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.”
The Melbourne mum explained she had “lots of plans – all sensible” for her $100,000 windfall.
“First we’re going to donate some of the prize to a charity we all support,” she shared.
“Then, apart from getting on top of bills, I’m going to help my children. It’s just a huge relief to wake up in the morning knowing I’ve won that prize.”
The woman explained her winning entry was only the third Lucky Lotteries entry she’d ever bought.
“You go on the website and read winners’ stories and there seems to be a lot of Lucky Lotteries winners so I thought I’d give it a go,” she laughed.
“I’m glad I did!”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her entry of four random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $23.08 million for draw 1143 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $760,000 for draw 10252.
