Break-ins prompt childcare alert

POLICE are asking people to report any suspicious behaviour around childcare centres in the Cranbourne area after a spate of break-ins recently.
Four childcare centres were broken into on the same weekend recently, and police said it appeared the offender had rummaged through paperwork.
Police could not confirm if anything was stolen from the childcare centres. The series of break-ins occurred in Tooradin, Pearcedale, Cranbourne West and Cranbourne North.
Anyone who has witnessed any unusual behaviour near childcare centres is urged to contact Detective Senior Constable Adam Ferguson at Narre Warren police station on 9705 3111.
