POTENTIAL land owners flocked to the opening of a new residential development in Cranbourne West last month.
The strong demand for land with the City of Casey continued, as over 60 per cent of the first stage release at Alarah was sold in the opening weekend.
Michael and Amanda Bombroff said they were thrilled to be the first buyers at Alarah.
“It’s fantastic to be Alarah’s inaugural purchasers, especially because we had only just discovered the estate three days before the opening weekend,” Mr Bombroff said.
The position of the development close to schools was a big drawcard, he added.
Wolfdene managing director Michael Goldthorp said the developer was delighted with the first weekend’s sales results at the site, which is located within the Cranbourne West precinct.
“The recent land decline in the City of Casey and beyond highlights the overwhelming popularity of the south-eastern region,” Mr Goldthorp said.
“Over the next few years, Cranbourne West will start to transform into a location rich with amenities and many people will call it home.”
