CASEY’S Inner Wheel circle got a taste of Melbourne’s fashion world on the weekend.
Young Melbourne designer Christiana Livaditis, 23, spoke to about 60 people from local Inner Wheel clubs about her journey in the fashion world and recent recognition as part of the L’Oreal Fashion Week. She also had her designs on display.
The Inner Wheel Club of Cranbourne hosted the fund-raising event in Berwick on Saturday, and president Debbie Kypraios said everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.
“She talked about where the idea of this collection came from and spoke about the way the garments were put together,” Ms Kypraios said.
Neighbouring clubs from Narre Warren and Berwick also attended, Ms Kypriaos said.
The club raised more than $2400 from the event, which will be distributed among local charities.
