Bloom Estate Neighbourhood Get Together

City of Casey inviting residents living in the newly established estate of Bloom to meet your neighbours and learn more about your community. In extreme weather conditions this event may be cancelled.

‘Chithra Swapanam’ – Experience Indian Folk Art

‘Chithra Swapanam’ is an art exhibition sharing the rich and vibrant South Indian culture and heritage through art. Highlights of this exhibition will include Kerala mural paintings that are known for their emphasis on beauty, clarity and symmetry. This art form is a very distinctive and classical form that is unrivalled and unique compared to any other form of Mural around the world. ‘Chithra Swapanam’ will be an open studio where the community can freely visit the exhibition and understand more about the painting style, technique and materials used.

• Thursday 2 August 2018 – Sunday 12 August from 10am – 2pm at Lynbrook Comm Centre Art Space, 2 Harris St, Lynbrook.

Bunjil Place Library Art Space: Nature and Fusion by Jenny Conn

Jenny Conn creates delightful functional and sculptural ceramic pieces. Her unique jewellery is made from clay in combination with precious gems, silver, pearls and glass beads.
