P-plater loses licence

A P-plater has been nabbed driving more than 30 km/h over the speed limit in Devon Meadows on Tuesday 31 July.

Casey Highway Patrol members were left shaking their heads when they detected the vehicle travelling at 98 km/h in a 60 zone on Browns Road at 5.20pm.

The 21-year-old of Narre Warren was issued with $604 fine which included six demerit points and a six-month licence suspension.

Police have urged drivers to slow down in wet conditions.
