THOSE interested in becoming Neighbourhood Watch representatives are encouraged to attend a public meeting in Cranbourne next week.
A new and improved Neighbourhood Watch program is being discussed, and existing delegates and interested members of the public are encouraged to come along to the meeting to hear about the proposed changes.
Sergeant Steve Ashley said there had been great support from Victoria Police, local council and the community to make the new program work.
“We now need to find others in the community that want to help make Neighbourhood Watch really thrive,” Sgt Ashley said.
“I encourage all members of the community to attend and be involved in discussing new proposals to the initiative.”
The meeting at Cranbourne will be held from 7pm to 9.30pm on 20 April at the Balla Balla Community Centre at 65 Berwick Cranbourne Road in Cranbourne East.
