Attempted abduction

POLICE are investigating the attempted abduction of a four-year-old boy who was playing outside his home in Cranbourne West last week.
Police said that a car stopped at the front of the house on Central Park Way about 2.30pm last Wednesday, and the driver had a brief conversation with the boy.
A sibling, who was also playing outside, ran into the house to alert his mother and the driver then left and headed east down the street.
The man inside the car was described as about 18 years old with short, spiky blond hair and a tattoo of a skeleton or something similar on his arm. The car was described as an electric blue Ford XR6 or XR8 with a rear spoiler and tinted windows.
Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
