Police have released images of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the theft of a laptop in Cranbourne this month.
It is believed a male entered the South Gippsland Highway business about 7.20pm on 8 March and walked to the laptop bench.
He allegedly played with the tablets and stayed in the store for about 40 minutes before cutting a security wire attached to a laptop and walking away.
He walked back to the bench, picked up the laptop and tried to put it down his shorts without success and ended up concealing it under his t-shirt.
The man then walked to the back of the store and exited without paying.
Investigators have released images of the man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
