TWO teenage boys had their I-pods stolen when they were forced to the ground and punched in Cranbourne this week.
The teenagers were walking along Lachlan Way about 11pm on Monday night when three males approached them and asked for cigarettes, police said.
The victims, who replied that they didn’t have any cigarettes, were then forced to the ground and repeatedly punched to the head and body before the offenders stole two I-pod Nanos and a quantity of cash from the boys, police said.
The offenders fled the scene in a Holden Commodore, police said.
One of the teenagers was taken to hospital for treatment with a suspected broken nose.
The offenders were described as male, about 18-years-old, with solid builds and wore black T-shirts and beanies.
Anyone who witnessed the attack can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
