POLICE are still searching for the men responsible for a Hampton Park robbery in June in which a family of five were tied up.
Investigators believe a similar raid in Trafalgar on 19 August may be linked to the Hampton Park attack on 3 June.
On both occasions, witnesses reported men entering their house following a knock at the door from an unmasked offender.
The victims were terrorised and assaulted before the men left with a number of firearms.
Casey police described the Hampton Park robbery as “horrific” and said the raiders forced a family of five to the ground and tied them up before they stole the firearms.
In June police said the firearms stolen from Hampton Park were licensed.
Police have released images of two men they want to identify and have given descriptions of other men.
The first man police are looking for is about 30 years old, 178cm tall, medium build, slightly wavy, black hair, tanned complexion and wore a black bomber jacket.
The second man is about 178cm tall, average build, medium dark skin and wore black tracksuit pants, dark-coloured runners and a black knitted balaclava.
The third man is of average height and wore a dark jacket and pinstriped black shirt, while the fourth is about 182 to 187cm tall, skinny build and wore dark clothing and a balaclava.
The fifth man is of average height, with a slim or medium build and wore dark-coloured clothing and a balaclava.
