HAMPTON Park Library staff put on a special storytelling session last month to thank Hampton Park Primary School students.
Each term the students from the school’s junior council suggest a worthwhile cause as part of its social service. Last term the students raised money for the library, something many of the students used.
On 23 October, prep, grade one and two students and some Junior School Council representatives were all treated to a special story time session with the librarians, who showed the students the puppets they bought with the funds raised by the school.
The students were thrilled to be involved in acting out popular picture stories with the puppets and said they were keen to visit their local library again to see more of the puppets.
