CASEY residents are asked to be wary of phone calls from people alleging to be from an investment company after it has been revealed as a scam.
Residents in Casey have received phone calls from people from Pacific Blue Investments that have been touting for business by trying to get people to invest in a portfolio, police said.
Pacific Blue Investments came to attention of Casey police about four months ago.
Police have asked residents to be cautious if approached by this company and advised people not to take things on face value.
Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has frozen the company’s assets, police said.
